“WADAIKO”, a Japanese traditional drum performance, held at the National Theatre of Namibia (October 6, 2016)

On 6th October 2016, the Japanese Embassy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Arts & Culture of the Government of Namibia, presented “WADAIKO”, a Japanese traditional drum performance by a female drum group Himiko, at the National Theatre of Namibia, commemorating the 1st Anniversary of the opening of the Embassy in Namibia. The tickets were sold out, and the performance ended on a high note with a standing ovation.
