
On 27th February 2017, in Windhoek, H.E. Mr. Hideyuki Sakamoto, Ambassador of Japan, and Hon. Ms. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, signed and exchanged notes for the Government of Japan’s Food Aid, worth 40 million JPY (about ND4.7 million), in support of the Namibian Government’s efforts for tackling food insecurity caused by the persistent droughts which hit Namibia for the last three years.
