Handover of a New School Building to the Andara Combined School in Mukwe Constituency, Kavango East Region

On the 19th of July 2017, a handover ceremony of a new school building which was funded by the Embassy of Japan through its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Andara Combined School in Mukwe Constituency, Kavango East Region. H.E. Mr. Hideyuki Sakamoto, Ambassador of Japan, officiated the event and handed over the facility to Amb. Dr. Samuel Mbambo, the Governor of Kavango East Region. The grant assistance amounting to NAD 1,011,738.00 was utilised to build a new school building for those learners who were learning under trees. A security guard house and a sliding gate at the school entrance were also built with the grant. The Japan’s assistance made it possible for the school to provide a conducive educational environment for learners.
