The provision of education supplies for children with special needs and supplementary food for ECD centers is an important part of the trilateral project Preventing and mitigating the impact of COVID-19 and overlapping emergencies on nutritional, leaning and health outcomes of vulnerable children in Namibia, which has been implemented through UNICEF since March this year. For the implementation of the project, the Government of Japan availed assistance totaling 586,800 USD, approximately 9 million NAD.
